Job summary

Symbria Rx Services seeks a Community Advocate Pharmacy Technician to act as a consistent contact for community staff, triaging calls and supporting client relationships. This role requires licensure and experience in long-term care settings and will involve remote work with standard weekday hours and occasional weekend coverage.

Responsibilities include handling refill authorizations, processing prescriptions, maintaining accuracy in the system, and documenting communications while upholding

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Pharmacy Technician license and CPhT as per state requirements.
  • Long-term care pharmacy experience required.
  • Docutrack experience required.

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a team oriented, Community Advocate Pharmacy Technician who shares our commitment to ensuring the health and wellness of seniors. Position Summary

The purpose of the Community Advocate Pharmacy Technician is to provide consistent points of contact for community staff to further develop customer relationships within various areas of our organization. The Community Advocate Pharmacy Technician will answer and respond to incoming phone calls from nursing staff and doctors to address all concerns and inquiries. As well as making calls to the nursing staff and doctors to clarify or obtain patient and prescription information. The Community Advocate Pharmacy Technician will also communicate to management identified trends or opportunities for training/education throughout the communities to assist in client.

Position Details
  • 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday and every 3rd weekend.
  • Must currently live in a state Symbria Rx Services is licensed in: AZ, CO, IN, IL, FL, KS, MA, MI, MO, OH, PA, WI
  • 100% Remote
Responsibilities

  • Prepare audit sheets and provide feedback to manager.
  • Forward incomplete or rejected scripts to appropriate department for resolution and track status in the system.
  • Initiate and document correspondence and follow up in system.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and provide high standard of customer service to the client.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements.
  • Long-term care pharmacy experience required.
  • Frameworks and Docutrack experience required.
