Job summary

The National Scleroderma Foundation seeks a Communications Manager to work closely with the Director of Communications to develop and oversee internal and external communications, with a focus on content creation, planning, and social media management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years in communications, strong digital skills, and experience in branding and data-driven decision-making. This is a 100% remote position with flexible hours across U.S. time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, public relations, or marketing.
• 2-5 years of experience in a communications setting with a strong digital background.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual editorial plan to ensure message consistency.
• Provide editorial support for key identity materials and donor pieces.
• Advise chapters and national departments on brand guidelines and toolkits.
• Write and publish articles for the website and publications.
• Manage Foundation email platform, newsletters, and content development.
• Update Foundation website content and structure.
• Lead branding campaigns and merchandise production.
• Plan and oversee social media activities and campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze communication metrics and suggest improvements.
• Support media outreach efforts with the Director, Communications and Marketing.
• Other duties as assigned.
