Job summary

Nurturing Minds, Inc. is seeking a Communications Coordinator to lead day-to-day content and digital communications, tell stories that showcase impact, and support fundraising and donor engagement across channels.

This fully remote role collaborates with the Executive Director, SEGA colleagues, and external partners to amplify the organization’s voice and mission. In this mid-level position, you will build a library of stories, manage content calendars, and ensure ethical, engaging storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in communications, marketing, or nonprofit PR.
• Experience creating donor-focused materials and multi-channel storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop content for print and online channels including newsletters, website, and social media.
• Identify stories from SEGA students and partners to highlight impact.
• Coordinate with executive leadership and partners to align with strategy and priorities.
• Support fundraising communications and donor engagement initiatives.
