Qualifications

• Seven+ years of experience in communications or public policy roles.
• Experience managing press relations and serving as spokesperson preferred.
• Strong writing and editing with publishable materials.
• Experience leading teams across multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships and coordinate internal workflows from conception to execution.
• Devise policy proposals and communications plans to influence local and national debates.
• Draft policy memos, strategy documents, and press materials including op-eds and statements.
• Monitor public policy developments and industry trends and adapt strategies.
• Oversee managers, associates, fellows, and interns, and mentor staff.
