Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in policy advocacy, government affairs, or closely related work.
• Proven ability to build revenue, fundraising, sponsorships, or earned income.
• Entrepreneurial leadership experience with a track record of growing an organization.
• Strong network with policy, business, philanthropic, or civic relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue and financial sustainability, managing contracts and philanthropy mix.
• Serve as the external voice with legislators, funders, and partners to build credibility.
• Set strategic priorities, align resources, scale operations, and pursue growth opportunities.
• Lead policy leadership initiatives and ensure rigorous, evidence-based advocacy.
• Direct team development, hiring plans, and organizational structure as the organization grows.
• Partner with the Board on governance, strategy, and fundraising engagement.
