Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for a Commissioning Project Manager to oversee the commissioning process for utility scale solar and energy storage projects across the South Central region. You will lead a team, ensuring all systems are tested and meet contractual requirements while coordinating closely with various stakeholders.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of project commissioning experience and is remote with travel to project sites as needed. Benefits include medical insurance, a 401(k) plan, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading complex project commissioning activities.
• Experience with utility scale solar/BESS/SCADA/HV commissioning.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements related to commissioning.
• Lead the site commissioning team and oversee commissioning activities.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports documenting all activities and issues.

Skills

Utility scale solar power plants testing for EPC or Utilities in the United States

Underground and overhead distribution design

Ability to interpret detailed design drawings

Knowledge of National Fire Protection Association/National Electrical Code standards

Strong problem-solving skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
