Job summary

ECNS is seeking a Commissioning Engineer at multiple levels (I-III) to execute commissioning, testing, startup, and turnover of electrical power systems. You will develop procedures, perform tests on MV/LV gear, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and project teams.

Requirements include an ABET‑accredited degree in electrical engineering and 1–7+ years of relevant experience; FE certification is beneficial, PE license optional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Experience levels: I (1–3 yrs), II (3+ yrs), III (7+ yrs).
• FE certification helpful; PE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support commissioning, testing, startup, and turnover for electrical power systems and equipment.
• Develop and perform commissioning procedures, test plans, and documentation for MV/LV systems, generators, UPS, switchgear.
• Troubleshoot issues to ensure safe, reliable system operation and coordinate with clients and project teams.
• Lead field testing activities and oversee commissioning execution with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, test records, and project documentation.
