Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Commissioning Agent to join the team remotely in the United States. You will commission mission critical center equipment such as power generation, UPS, BMS and HVAC systems, with substantial travel to client sites.

The role requires 7 years in electrical or mechanical systems, solid testing and QA/QC experience, and strong communication skills. Travel will be frequent; passport is required.

Qualifications

• Seven years in electrical power distribution or mechanical systems or both.
• Experience diagnosing construction and operational problems.
• Excellent written and oral communication; organized.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Willingness to travel 75% and obtain a passport.

Responsibilities

• Perform design reviews of systems and write startup policies.
• QA/QC of equipment installation and functional test plans.
• Conduct tests to ensure conformance with standards.
• Train plant operations and maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on problem resolution.
