WesBanco is seeking a CRU Officer to manage a portfolio of troubled and distressed commercial and CRE credits. The role requires deep knowledge of commercial credit underwriting and collections, and negotiation of exit/remediation strategies with borrowers.

The position collaborates with management, lending staff, and legal counsel to protect the Bank’s interests and ensure regulatory compliance. Remote work is primary, with occasional in-person meetings.

Qualifications

• College degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial banking or loan review.
• Knowledge of vehicle and equipment evaluation is preferred.
• Previous knowledge and experience in the maintenance and sale of real estate is required.

Responsabilités

• Review loan files upon assignment to understand the transaction and circumstances.
• Enforce the bank's rights regarding loans and collateral.
• Discuss issues with supervisor and legal counsel to develop strategies.
• Document loan files with actions taken for each account.
• Work with third parties to dispose of collateral.
• Coordinate with commercial banking officers on shared accounts.
• Analyze financial statements and cash flow to assess borrower strength.
• Respond to inquiries from customers, regulators, or business community.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and bank policies.
• Develop and implement credit strategies to minimize losses.
• Make/ review foreclosure bid recommendations.
