Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and managing all aspects of our commercial insurance clients' needs. This role requires an individual who is comfortable working in a demanding environment, managing multiple priorities, and utilizing their excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring all client service needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and insurance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the seamless transition of new clients.
  • Review and analyze clients' existing insurance coverage and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee the renewal process for all assigned clients, including preparing renewal proposals and negotiating with carriers for the best terms.
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and adjusters to manage claims and risk management issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and products to provide the best advice and service to clients.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance and account management.
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • An insurance designation such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU is preferred.
