Job summary

Member Business Financial Services, L.L.P. (MBFS) in Pennsylvania seeks a Commercial Credit Analyst (remote, full-time) to provide detailed credit analysis and recommendations for new and existing borrowers, ensuring loans meet policy guidelines.

You will prepare collateral valuations, perform cash flow and ratio analysis, and create credit memorandums, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to credit policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred.
• Three years' experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting financial data and credit memoranda.
• Proficiency in credit spreading analysis software, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of small business loan policy, federal banking regulations, and loan documentation.
• Excellent written and oral communication and loan interviewing skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate member business loan requests.
• Assess a business' financial needs and recommend loan packages.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other information to determine feasibility.
• Prepare detailed analysis of assets for collateral valuation and loan-to-value calculations.
• Identify strengths and weaknesses through balance sheet, income statement, ratio, and cash flow analyses.
• Create credit memorandums and maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist clients in negotiating terms of credit, costs, repayment, and collateral requirements.
