Job summary

MasTec Renewables, a leader in solar, wind and battery storage projects, offers an opportunity for a remote Commercial Contract Manager with up to 50% travel to job sites in the United States. You will administer EPC contracts, manage risk, and coordinate with Commercial, Legal, and site leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget project execution.

The role requires a strong background in contract management on large-scale projects, proficiency with Viewpoint/Procore, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of recent experience in construction contract management on large and complex construction projects.
• 3+ years of recent experience in using construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Administer project contracts and draft notices in line with contractual requirements such as force majeure and owner-caused delays.
• Lead contract terms review with project team after award but before mobilization.
• Draft notices to subcontractors and suppliers regarding performance and project execution matters.
• Participate in regular project team meetings and proactively engage with the team.
• Advise on contractual change requirements and monitor/track changes through resolution.
• Support Project Manager and insurance team in administering, tracking, and closing insurance claims.
