Job summary

Crawford & Company in Canada is seeking a Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster for a remote role. You will manage claims from initial review to resolution, applying judgment and clear communication to deliver exceptional service.

The position requires 2–3 years in insurance claims, post-secondary education in an insurance field, and the ability to obtain an Independent Adjusting License. CIP coursework is underway, and knowledge of Property and Auto PD is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in insurance claims
• Post-secondary education in an insurance related field is assets
• Ability to obtain Independent Adjusting License

Responsibilities

• Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information
• Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files
• Evaluates coverage, liability and quantum
• Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records
• Negotiates, settles and finalizes claims; work with managers to maintain client relations
