R. K. Tongue Co. is seeking an Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of high-value commercial clients within a growing insurance agency. You will act as a trusted advisor on coverage strategy, retention, and client success, guiding risk management decisions and strengthening relationships.

Join a collaborative team of producers, CSRs, and carrier partners to drive organic growth, achieve renewal excellence, and deliver proactive service and strategic stewardship for a VIP client base.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-value clients
• Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers
• Conduct proactive client reviews to assess coverage, risk and evolving business and insurance needs
• Deliver proactive communication and consultative strategic service
• Lead and manage renewal processes for the assigned book of accounts
• Evaluate coverage, pricing and carrier markets for best service and value to the client
• Develop and execute renewal strategies with producers and carriers
• Expand existing client relationships through additional product and service offerings
• Identify opportunities to broaden services and coverage within the portfolio
• Contribute to organic growth initiatives to achieve growth targets of 105%+
• Maintain strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
• Analyze policies and recommend risk management solutions
• Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetite and coverage innovations
• Provide consultative support to help clients evaluate risks and make informed decisions
• Maintain accurate documentation in agency management systems
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and carrier guidelines
• Monitor and track performance metrics and service standards
• Portfolio includes VIP and high-value commercial clients
• Manage a book of ~150 VIP and ~300 high-value relationships
