• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years of college counseling experience; extensive knowledge of college admissions process, financial aid, scholarships, and academic planning.
• Strong communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
• Exceptional writing skills for essays, resumes, and supplemental materials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized strategy sessions with students from 9th grade, developing tailored admissions plans.
• Maintain consistent communication with students and parents about goals and progress.
• Research and craft comprehensive college lists (reach/target/likely) aligned with profiles and budgets.
• Assist with brainstorming and editing personal statements and essays.
• Guide timelines and application components to ensure timely, strong submissions.
• Advise on coursework, standardized tests, and extracurricular activities to strengthen applications.
• Review resumes and prepare students for college interviews with mock sessions and feedback.
• Stay updated on admissions trends and requirements to provide relevant guidance.
• Participate in webinars and contribute to curriculum development and content creation.
