Job summary

Legion Health in the United States seeks clinically excellent, patient-centered psychiatrists to collaborate with and supervise PMHNPs through secure telehealth workflows. This nationwide, remote, part-time contractor role combines meaningful clinical responsibility with flexible scheduling and strong professional support.

You will provide guidance, chart reviews, mentorship, and independent prescribing decisions where legally permitted, while Legion handles recruitment, vetting of PMHNPs, and

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort providing care remotely and using EHR systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely clinical guidance.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where permitted.
• Be available during agreed hours and assist PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
