Job summary

Legion Health is seeking clinically excellent psychiatrists to collaborate with and supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth. This nationwide, remote, part-time contractor role combines clinical responsibility with strong organizational support.

You will provide guidance, chart reviews, mentorship, and independent prescribing decisions where permitted, helping expand access to quality psychiatric care in the United States.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold an active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Ability to supervise PMHNPs and provide clinical guidance remotely with evidence-based protocols.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where legally permitted.
• Be available during agreed working hours and support PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
