Job summary

Mantra Health is seeking a Board-Certified Collaborating Psychiatrist to join our remote psychiatry team as a 1099 independent contractor. You will collaborate with Tennessee-licensed PMHNPs, providing 2–4 hours of direct clinical care weekly and ensuring high-quality psychiatric care for college students.

Responsibilities include chart reviews, regulatory compliance, and monthly collaboration meetings. Licensing in additional states (MA, NY, FL, PA) is encouraged to support our expanding

Qualifications

• Board-certified MD or DO Psychiatrist
• Active Tennessee medical license (TN)
• Telepsychiatry experience a plus
• Willingness to obtain licenses in additional states as Mantra expands

Responsibilities

• Serve as collaborating physician for TN-licensed PMHNPs under state regulations
• Provide 2–4 hours of direct psychiatric care per week in designated states
• Perform monthly chart reviews and audits for collaborating PMHNPs
• Lead and participate in collaboration meetings with PMHNPs and psychiatrists
• Maintain compliance with policies, workflows, and regulatory requirements
• Support a collaborative clinical culture focused on student mental health outcomes
