Job summary

Stanford University seeks a Manager of Conflict of Interest and Conflict of Commitment to lead the COI/COC program across faculties and central offices. You will review outside activity disclosures, coordinate with committees, and ensure compliance with federal and institutional policies.

You will draft memoranda, develop management plans, and help update university policies while partnering with IT on the disclosure system and training faculty and staff.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in research compliance or research administration; CRA preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of conflict of interest/commitment regulations and disclosure processes.
• Experience working with university policy and federal sponsor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day COI/COC program operations and oversight.
• Review disclosures and advise on administrative vs. committee review.
• Prepare agendas, memoranda, and management plans for committee reviews.
• Develop and deliver education and outreach on COI/COC policies.
• Collaborate with faculty, research admins, and IT on disclosures system improvements.
