Job summary

Maximus is seeking Cognitive Enhancement Practitioners to support cognitive performance programs for SOF personnel. You will train teams in adaptive thinking, sleep, emotion regulation, and goal setting, and provide evidence-based interventions to enhance focus and stress management.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, a Secret security clearance eligibility, and a strong background in psychology or performance psychology with military or tactical exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• Active licensure (LCSW/LMSW) in the state of practice.
• Three or more years post-doctoral experience in performance psychology with military or tactical personnel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team and ensure adequate staffing for program area.
• Serve as subject matter expert for identified CEP program areas.
• Develop training materials and coordinate CEP initiatives in unit training.
• Train active-duty personnel in cognitive and behavioral skills to enhance performance.
• Provide briefings on cognitive performance, biofeedback, sleep, and related functions.
