Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Cognitive Domain Lead to advance brain health and cognitive performance for SOF readiness. You will lead development, delivery, and continuous improvement of cognitive programs, integrating brain health with physical, psychological, and social domains.

The role requires senior experience, US citizenship, and an active Secret clearance or eligibility. You will oversee multi-project plans, mentor staff, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive outcomes in a demanding

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
7–10 years of relevant professional experience.
Advanced knowledge of cognitive performance, brain health, neuroscience, human performance, psychology, or related discipline.
Experience leading programs, multidisciplinary teams, or complex human performance initiatives.
Strong strategic planning, program management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope including planning activities and artifacts.
Oversee large multi-project programs including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities.
Create and execute project work plans and revise as needed.
Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
Develop and maintain a master/resource plan and required documents.
Baseline projects and track metrics for forecasting.
Review deliverables for quality before management review.
Apply PMI standards and ensure project governance.
Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Minimize risk exposure and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Resolve issues and maintain project documentation.
Track lessons learned and apply to future projects.
Close projects properly and mentor staff.
