Job summary

CorroHealth is seeking a Coding Specialist 2 to provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for multiple specialties, including Professional Fee and Facility, remotely from home.

You will maintain accuracy at 95%+ and work from home with flexible hours, requiring CPC/COC or CCS/CCS-P certification and 2+ years of experience; advanced knowledge of EMR and billing systems, plus Excel/Outlook proficiency.

Qualifications

• Certified through AAPC or AHIMA is required.
• Minimum 2 years of coding experience.
• Proficient with EMR and billing systems.
• Maintain productivity and quality scores above 95%.
• Remote work from home with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Work from home and be independent in coding.
• Provide various components of coding services to support clients.
• Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels using company algorithm.
• Recognize critical care cases by patient acuity.
• Code surgical procedures typical of an ER setting.
• Apply ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS/CPT/HCPCS codes with high specificity.
• Interpret coding guidelines for accurate code assignment.
• Identify importance of documentation on code assignment and reimbursement impact.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Communicate with clients professionally to support the company.
• Assist Leadership with reports as needed.
• Potential opportunity to begin auditing.
• Align conduct with AHIMA/Company ethics and compliance.
• Comply with internal policies and procedures.
• Maintain at least one credential (AAPC/AHIMA).
• Participate in Company training and education.
• Ensure privacy and security of all confidential information.
