Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority seeks a Coding Quality Analyst - PB to lead and coordinate the coding quality review process. You will analyze errors, provide educational guidance, and identify opportunities to improve coding accuracy.

Responsibilities include preparing summary reports of review results and tracking trends to inform targeted education. This role supports flexible scheduling within 1.0 FTE and is based in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Coding Program required.
• Two (2) years of Coding experience may be considered in lieu of the medical coding program in addition to the experience below.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in a health care related field preferred
• Graduate of a Health Information Technology program preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, conduct, and/or coordinate the review process for coding quality, analyzing errors and advising staff on quality improvement opportunities.
• Prepare summary reporting of the coding review results as requested.
