Job summary

Quorum Health is seeking a Coding Operations Manager to provide operational leadership across inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary coding functions. This remote, full‑time role reports to the Coding Operations Director and requires eligibility to reside in the United States.

The role ensures compliance with ICD‑10‑CM/PCS, CPT/HCPCS, payer policies, and federal/state regulations while driving quality, productivity, and timely reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years progressive acute care coding experience.
• Three (3) or more years in coding leadership or management.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT/HCPCS and NCCI guidelines.
• Experience with audits, payer policies, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct management over inpatient, outpatient, emergency department and ambulatory coding operations.
• Oversee DNFB accounts, work queues, and billing edits with Revenue Integrity.
• Collaborate with CDI, HIM, and Clinical leadership to resolve documentation and reimbursement issues.
• Develop and monitor coding quality, productivity, and turnaround time metrics.
• Provide staff development, coaching, and corrective actions as needed.
