Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management required or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years coding experience required; teaching experience 1-2 years preferred.
• Strong instructional and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update coding education curriculum based on current coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars for coders and coding-related staff on CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, compliance, and documentation improvement.
• Create engaging e-learning modules and online courses for remote learning using multimedia tools and platforms.
• Provide hands-on guidance to coders, reviewing coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
• Educate coders on coding compliance regulations, ethics, and fraud and abuse prevention.
