Impact Advisors, LLC is a nationally recognized healthcare management consulting firm delivering Best in KLAS advisory, implementation, and optimization services. The Coding Auditor will perform audits to evaluate coding accuracy, documentation support, compliance, and reimbursement impact.

The role includes providing feedback, training staff, supporting denials and revenue cycle initiatives, and staying current on ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of medical coding auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and payer-specific guidelines.
• Experience conducting coding audits and delivering audit feedback.
• Proven ability to interpret medical documentation and apply accurate coding principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of professional coding across multiple specialties.
• Provide actionable feedback and monitor coding trends.
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and payer guidelines.
• Support denials review and appeals processes as needed.
• Deliver coder education based on audit findings.
