PeaceHealth is hiring a Coder I - Home & Community Care Admin for a full-time, remote role. The position codes outpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM and CPT-4, ensuring accuracy for reimbursement and data quality.

Requires an accredited coding program, knowledge of CMS requirements, and experience with ICD-10-CM/CPT-4. Must reside in WA/OR/AK, and be able to work independently in a remote environment.

Competenze

• Accredited coding education or equivalent experience.
• Formal coding certificate/program preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4.
• Experience with outpatient coding and auditing is a plus.

Mansioni

• Review records, code diagnoses/procedures using ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 conventions for reimbursement and compliance.
• Ensure specificity of diagnoses and procedures for appropriate reimbursement.
• Abstract data from medical records following established methods.
• Identify problem documents and correct errors with submitting departments.
• Review and correct claim and code edits as required.
