Job summary

NANA Construction seeks a General Foreman to supervise coating/blasting projects at Red Dog Mine, AK. You will coordinate crews, manage site organization, and ensure safety and quality across shifts with close interaction with foremen and project managers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a General Foreman in construction, including coating, blasting, and painting, plus remote work experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 10 years General Foreman experience.
• Minimum five years as General Foreman in construction with coating, blasting and painting.
• Remote work experience required.
• Driver’s license with clean three-year record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise coating/blasting projects and coordinate personnel and tracking.
• Oversee site organization and accountability.
• Direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors on planning and procedures.
• Report on performance, conditions and productivity.
• Ensure safety equipment is available and maintain safe site conditions.
• Monitor compliance with federal safety mandates and company rules.
• Verify use of safety gear and inspect for hazards.
• Maintain quality of work produced by employees.
• Perform activities of supervised workers.
• This position has supervisory responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
