NANA Construction seeks a General Foreman to supervise coating and blasting operations at Red Dog Mine, AK. You will coordinate site activities, manage foremen and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and keep projects on schedule.

Travel may be required to multiple mine sites; remote rotation is part of the work type. You will report on performance, enforce safety, and maintain organized, compliant work sites under company policies.

Formación

• Minimum five (5) years' experience as a General Foreman in the construction industry. Experience must include coating, blasting, and painting.
• Remote work experience required.
• Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise coating/blasting projects at various job sites through management of employee personnel and project tracking.
• Responsible for site organization and accountability.
• Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
• Reports on employee performance, working conditions and productivity.
• Ensures safety equipment is available, and maintains safe working conditions on a job site.
• Monitors employees to ensure they are compliant with both federal safety mandates and safety regulations established by the company or organization.
• Verifies workers are using provided safety gear, and inspects the job sites to identify and correct possible safety hazards.
• Responsible for maintaining quality of work produced by employees.
• Performs activities of workers supervised.
• This position has supervisory responsibilities.
• Performs other related duties as be assigned.
