Job summary

New Charter Company is seeking a Systems Engineer for Regulated Industries to design, implement, and support secure environments for clients with CMMC and CJIS considerations.

The role is primarily remote with occasional travel, requiring strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-prem systems, plus vulnerability management and DR planning. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet compliance and client needs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of design/installation experience.
• At least one industry certification is required.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure for regulated clients.
• Lead risk assessments, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with security and design teams to deliver projects on time.
• Provide escalation support and mentor junior staff on technical topics.
