Ways2Well is seeking a Patient Support Specialist to serve as the primary contact for patients, handling scheduling, questions, and lab coordination from a remote home office in the United States.

The role combines clinical knowledge with exceptional customer service, requiring CMA certification, 3+ years of healthcare experience, and proficiency with EHRs and telehealth platforms. You will work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Central, with ongoing HIPAA compliance and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a healthcare environment
• CMA certification and knowledge of clinical workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication with patient empathy
• Proficient in EHR systems and telehealth platforms

Responsabilités

• Provide digital and phone-based patient support with empathy and accuracy
• Guide patients through treatment plans, lab work, and next steps
• Review lab results under provider guidance and order labs as directed
• Gather medical history, discuss labs, and explain therapies
• Schedule telehealth appointments, follow-ups, and lab draws
• Maintain thorough documentation in the EHR
• Act as liaison between patients and providers for timely care
• Identify and escalate urgent or complex patient concerns
• Support patient education on therapies and health optimization
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality
• Meet KPIs and SLAs
• Collaborate using digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
