Ladders is seeking a Systems Engineer for a remote role to build and maintain cloud-native demo environments that support product evaluation, field readiness, and hands-on technical enablement. You will partner with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to reflect real-world architectures with strong DevOps thinking and infrastructure automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Solutions Engineering.
• Hands-on IAM and PAM experience.
• Experience with secrets management and DevOps security workflows.
• Cloud infrastructure and containerization (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with AI tools and autonomous AI agents in cloud environments.
• Strong system administration across Windows and Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable, cloud-native demo environments and use-case flows.
• Apply DevOps methodologies to create automated evaluation environments that simulate real-world architectures.
• Define technical evaluation use cases and continuously update guidance as products evolve.
• Lead technical readiness for new product releases, ensuring the field has the necessary tools and environments.
• Monitor shared technical environments for health and adoption, driving improvements as needed.
