Job summary
Motion Industries is seeking an Azure Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance reliability, availability, and performance of enterprise apps on Microsoft Azure. The role combines software engineering, cloud infra, automation, and DevOps to reduce toil and build resilient cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years in a tech/software engineering role.
- Experience with large-scale, highly available cloud platforms and distributed applications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and reliability of Azure-hosted platforms.
- Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets.
- Drive reliability improvements via metrics, trend analysis, and platform modernization.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve testing, release validation, and deployment.
- Design, build, and support AKS, networking, app services, and storage on Azure.
- Develop IaC solutions using Terraform and Azure-native deployment tech.
- Lead incident response, RCA, and post-incident reviews.
- Automate platform provisioning and deployments to reduce toil and improve reliability.
