Job summary

Signet Jewelers is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and deliver enterprise-grade SaaS applications on modern cloud platforms, integrating Generative AI and LLMs. You will lead architecture, define deployment strategies, and drive AI-powered modernization across the tech stack, including .NET, SQL Server, and AWS services.

The role emphasizes building scalable, secure solutions and collaborating with IT and business stakeholders through all project phases.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-grade SaaS applications.
• Hands-on with .NET, SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with ECS Fargate, Lambda and cloud-native patterns.
• Experience integrating with LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, Vertex AI).
• Strong security practices including OAuth2.0 for SSO and API access.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to write clean, scalable .NET code.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to produce highly available and scalable design and architecture.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Act as the technical lead for assigned projects, owning the solution architecture and leading reviews.
• Architect and develop applications that integrate with LLM platforms through APIs and SDKs for scalability, security, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead the design of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions by integrating enterprise knowledge sources, databases, APIs, and retail systems.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend models, frameworks, and cloud services to support business objectives.
• Understand the current application infrastructure and functionalities.
