Job summary

Signet Jewelers is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and deliver enterprise-grade SaaS apps and AI-powered solutions. The role spans Angular/.NET/JavaScript, microservices, and cloud-native architectures, with a focus on modernization and Generative AI adoption. Remote work supported.

You will lead technical design, document best practices, integrate with LLM platforms via APIs, and guide project teams through all stages of the lifecycle in a fast-paced retail tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with the core AWS services.
• Practical experience with .NET framework, SQL Server, Oracle.
• Experience with ECS Fargate, Lambda, AuroraDB and DynamoDB.
• Experience integrating applications with LLM APIs such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or similar AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, model selection, token optimization, embeddings, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Strong notions of security best practices and ability to implement OAuth2.0 authentication for SSO and API Auths.
• Practical experience with TEST APIs, Microservices design patterns, principles, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to produce highly available and scalable design and architecture.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Act as the technical lead for assigned projects, owning the solution architecture, guiding the project team, overseeing technical execution, tracking progress, and leading project reviews with IT and business stakeholders throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Architect and develop applications that integrate with commercial and open-source LLM platforms through APIs and SDKs, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead the design of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions by integrating enterprise knowledge sources, databases, APIs, and retail systems.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend appropriate models, frameworks, and cloud services to support business objectives.
• Understand the current application infrastructure and functionalities.
