Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and support cloud and enterprise security solutions across MFA, endpoint security, email security and DLP. You’ll join a collaborative Cybersecurity Engineering team protecting critical infrastructure and data while enabling secure AI‑driven applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information/Cyber Security or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in cloud security and knowledge of MFA, DLP, Email Security and Endpoint Security.
• Ability to obtain Government Suitability.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus.
• Certs such as AWS Security – Specialty or Azure Security are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud security solutions.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts in the cloud.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans of cloud infra.
• Develop and maintain security policies and documentation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure comprehensive security measures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with cloud security trends and technologies.
• Provide operational support for MFA, Endpoint, Email Security and DLP as needed.
