Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Security Solutions Architect to provide expert security advisory services and architect complex cybersecurity solutions for enterprise customers. You will translate complex business and security requirements into scalable, customer‑focused security solutions, partnering with sales, engineering, operations, and executives.

The role requires broad expertise across security domains, the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority, and a proven track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience as an information security professional.
• Experience leading complex security solutioning engagements and gathering, documenting, and tracing security requirements.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, cloud technologies, DevOps environments, and security platforms.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, customer stakeholders, security professionals, and technical teams; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSEC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Transform customer security requirements into scalable security solutions and architectures.
• Lead security solution development for strategic initiatives and high-visibility opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build consensus on technical approaches and solution strategies.
• Architect, package, and position managed and professional security services.
• Develop architectural diagrams, statements of work, pricing support, and customer-facing security collateral.
• Provide thought leadership across cybersecurity domains and contribute to new security services.
• Present security strategies and recommendations to executive leadership and technical audiences.
