Job summary

Offchain is seeking a Security Engineer to define and strengthen our cloud security posture and collaborate across teams to ensure secure, compliant operations—aligned with SOC2, ISO 27001, and other standards.

You will design secure cloud‑native architectures, automate controls, and educate engineers, applying deep AWS and Kubernetes expertise to protect the Arbitrum ecosystem as it scales.

This role supports a remote‑first global workforce with a NY office and a strong reimbursement program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a security engineering role
• Experience with cloud infrastructure security, especially AWS
• Familiarity with Kubernetes security and secret management tools (Vault, KMS)
• Strong understanding of SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF and related standards
• Experience conducting security design reviews and threat modelling

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve secure cloud-native architectures and CI/CD pipelines
• Identify risks and harden systems across the technology stack
• Automate security controls and educate developers
• Contribute to information security governance, policies, standards, and procedures
• Collaborate with engineering, infra, and product teams to align controls with business goals
