Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a mid-level Security Engineer to join a Security Engineering team guarding a large-scale multitenant cloud hosting platform. This role blends hands-on security ownership with building automation and tooling to scale impact across development squads, emphasizing Security by Design in agile, cloud-native environments.

You will author detection rules, develop security pipelines in Python or Go, manage vulnerability programs across SAST/DAST/SCA, and help implement supply

Qualifications

• 4+ years of overall experience with 2+ years in Application Security or Security Engineering.
• Hands-on security automation experience and production-grade tooling.
• Secure by Design practices and cloud security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Author SIEM detection rules and response playbooks in Chronicle-style platforms.
• Build and maintain security automation pipelines in Python or Go.
• Own vulnerability identification, triage, and remediation across SAST/DAST/SCA.
• Implement supply chain security controls and integrate into workflows.
• Define RBAC and access reviews; enforce org-level security policies.
• Run credential and secrets hygiene programs in code repositories.
