Job summary

Tripoint Solutions LLC is seeking a Cloud Engineer to build, operate, and automate AWS GovCloud infrastructure for a federal education program. You will collaborate with cloud, Salesforce, integration, and data teams to keep environments secure, available, and compliant.

ROs: remote role, with work across security, IAM, and data services; requires hands-on AWS GovCloud experience and MuleSoft/Salesforce integration. Strong automation and RMF/ATO knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
~5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or operations.
~Hands-on AWS GovCloud experience.
~Hands-on AWS across compute, storage, networking, and identity (VPCs, subnets, routing, peering, Route 53, load balancing, VPN/Direct Connect).
~Experience integrating AWS with Salesforce and MuleSoft.
~Hands-on AWS Glue experience.
~Proficiency with IAM policy design, KMS, and least-privilege access models.
~Linux system administration and Python for automation.
~CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalents.
~Cloud security knowledge and hardening practices.
~AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
~Salesforce or MuleSoft certification.
~Risk Management Framework / ATO support / STIG / ACAS or Nessus.
~Monitoring with CloudWatch or Splunk.
~Prior federal contract experience.

Responsibilities

Provision, configure, and operate AWS GovCloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, VPCs).
Build and support integrations between AWS and Salesforce (MuleSoft).
Develop AWS Glue pipelines for secure data movement.
Implement S3 lifecycle, tiering, and retention policies.
Enforce least-privilege access with IAM/KMS and network isolation.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and security monitoring.
Support STIG, RMF, ATO activities and vulnerability remediation.
Maintain deployment runbooks, rollback procedures, and change control artifacts.
Automate ops using Python.
