Job summary

Meduit is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and support hybrid cloud networking across Azure, AWS, on-prem, and remote locations. The role emphasizes highly available, secure connectivity and modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in enterprise networking, hands-on Azure and AWS networking, and experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Bicep/ARM, CloudFormation and automation with Python or PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure, including cloud and hybrid networking environments.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Azure networking.
• Experience supporting AWS networking technologies in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of: TCP/IP, Routing and Switching, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, IPSec, High Availability, and Network Security.
• Experience configuring enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless infrastructure, and load balancers.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and network automation using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, PowerShell, Python, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, Security, Facilities, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Microsoft Azure networking solutions, including hub-and-spoke architectures and VPNs.
• Design, implement, and support AWS networking solutions (VPCs, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs).
• Develop secure, scalable hybrid connectivity among Azure, AWS, offices, and on-premises data centers.
• Configure and manage enterprise networking technologies (routers/switches/firewalls/VPNs/WAN).
• Automate network provisioning and operations using IaC, scripting, REST APIs, and configuration management tools.
• Participate in cloud migrations, upgrades, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on enterprise networking technologies.
• Maintain network diagrams, IPAM records, config docs, and troubleshooting guides.
