Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and operating scalable distributed systems.
• Production experience with Go, C++, or Java.
• Familiar with PagerDuty on-call and production debugging.
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaaS.
• Experience with data storage, ingestion, and transformation (Spark, Kafka).
• Strong communication across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build a cloud-native database platform on public cloud.
• Develop and maintain the in-house Kubernetes operator.
• Improve metrics pipelines and statistics to guide decisions.
• Collaborate with ClickHouse core and data-plane teams on infra use cases.
• Architect and build robust, scalable distributed infrastructure.
