Job summary

CORAS, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to operate and evolve a cloud-first platform used by federal customers. You will work with senior engineers on AWS, Linux, containers, and security controls in a regulated environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, scale, and on-call coverage, with opportunities to apply FedRAMP/NIST standards and DoD compliance practices across production systems.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, and/or DevOps experience.
• Experience with AWS (Commercial or GovCloud).
• Experience supporting production systems or SaaS offerings.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, storage, load balancing).
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
• Administer Linux-based systems (RHEL or similar); patch, update, and harden systems (STIGs).
• Work with containerized workloads (Docker, ECS/Fargate, or similar) and support deployments.
• Follow security best practices and support compliance requirements in a regulated environment.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and system monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams; participate in on-call rotation.
