This position is offsite, primarily remote, with possible on-site meetings at Regions offices. AWS knowledge and strong analytical skills are essential for success in a fast-paced FinOps environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of financial analysis, management reporting, or related experience.
• Or High School Diploma or GED and nine (9) years of financial analysis, management reporting, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with finance and technology teams to establish cloud budgets and forecasts.
• Develops and maintains financial models and forecasts to track cloud spending and cost-saving initiatives.
• Analyzes billing data and cloud usage metrics to identify trends and areas for optimization.
• Plays a key role in the development and implementation of strategies to optimize cloud costs.
• Creates reports and dashboards to track and communicate cloud cost optimization efforts to stakeholders.
• Provides guidance to engineering teams on implementation of optimization recommendations.
• Presents financial analysis to influence management decisions.
• Stays current on industry trends, tools, and technologies related to cloud cost management and FinOps practices.
