Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC seeks a Cloud Engineer II with strong Linux administration and DevOps experience to support cloud-based IT infrastructure for DHS/ICE in a secure, mission-driven environment. You will analyze requirements, implement specifications, and contribute to system design and enhancements.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on AWS and Azure experience, UNIX/Linux administration at scale, and proficiency with Ansible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of UNIX/Linux administration in a large environment.
• Experience securing cloud-based systems in AWS and Azure.
• Experience with Kion configuration and implementation.
• Experience deploying and securing certificates, LDAP, and SSO (SPNEGO/SAML).
• Strong UNIX shell scripting with Ansible exposure.
• Ability to evaluate new products and provide recommendations.
• Advanced troubleshooting and interaction with vendors to resolve issues.
• Familiarity with security standards such as DHS 4300A, DoD STIG, and FISMA.
• Capable of working independently and in a structured team environment.
• Excellent communication and strong time management; DHS Public Trust clearance capable.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud-based IT system infrastructure and processes.
• Provide second-level diagnosis and resolution of issues.
• Support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of customer IT systems.
• Operate master consoles to monitor network and computer system performance.
• Coordinate network access and usage with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineering groups to ensure proper network operation.
• Perform Linux administration support activities.
• Develop, test, and debug Ansible Playbooks and recipes.
• Analyze system scans and remediate findings and POA&Ms.
• Coordinate changes, installs, and upgrades with application owners per change control.
