Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and operational best practices.
• Experience administering and supporting public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Python, Go, and Git.
• Experience with cloud identity and access management (RBAC, SSO).
• Familiarity with cloud security, governance and compliance controls (HIPAA / NIST 800-171).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance IaC for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automation to improve cloud platform operations.
• Administer cloud IAM, including SSO integration and policies.
• Support hybrid networking between campus and public clouds.
• Monitor health, availability, and performance using observability tools.
• Integrate security controls and cloud security posture management.
• Assist with security, governance, and compliance across clouds.
• Monitor cloud consumption and optimize costs.
• Provide technical consultation to researchers and staff on cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
