Job summary

Celestica is seeking a DevOps engineer to accelerate engineering productivity by developing and promoting tools, automating workflows, and supporting AI operational tooling. The role requires documenting processes, integrating third-party tools, testing infrastructure, and training engineering teams.

Primary responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments on Azure or GCP, and developing dashboards for visibility.

Qualifications

Proficient in Python and CI/CD tooling, with scripting experience.
Experience deploying and maintaining cloud infra on Azure or GCP and Linux systems.
Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab for version control.
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop CI/CD pipelines using Python and scripting languages.
Represent Engineering Teams when evaluating, implementing, and deploying engineering tools and instituting process changes.
Provide training and best practices to Engineering Teams for new tools.
Support complex engineering operational issues requiring collaboration with teams.
Automate workflows through third-party tools, proofs of concept, and testing.
Work with Azure and GCP to deploy, manage, and scale infrastructure.
Create dashboards to visualize engineering workflows and project status.
Implement and maintain system and application monitoring and alerting.
Incorporate security practices at all stages of automated processes.
