Job summary

Celestica is seeking a DevOps Engineer to accelerate engineering productivity by developing and promoting tooling, documenting processes, and integrating third‑party solutions. The role involves testing, deploying infrastructure, and supporting engineering teams across hybrid environments.

The candidate will work with Azure and GCP, automate workflows, and build dashboards for visibility while ensuring security practices are embedded in the workflows.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python development and automation scripting.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation concepts.
• Experience with Azure or Google Cloud and Linux systems.
• Version control with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
• Represent Engineering Teams when evaluating and deploying engineering tools; drive process changes.
• Provide training and best practices for newly deployed tools to engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering operational issues with cross‑functional teams.
• Automate workflows by evaluating third‑party tools and building scripts; validate via PoCs.
• Work with Azure and GCP to deploy, manage, and scale engineering infrastructure.
• Create dashboards to visualize engineering workflows and project status.
• Implement and maintain system and application monitoring and alerting.
• Incorporate security practices throughout automated engineering processes.
