Job summary

MGT is seeking a Practice Lead for Cloud & Data Center to drive the day-to-day operations of our Cloud & Data Center Professional Services team. The role combines hands-on engineering leadership with strategic delivery oversight across cloud migrations, data center modernization, and related technologies.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with project managers and sales, and ensure project success by maintaining delivery standards, risk management, and customer satisfaction in a remote US

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and data center experience.
• 5+ years leading cloud, virtualization, infrastructure modernization, or engineering projects and teams.
• 3+ years of resource management, team leadership, or delivery management experience.
• Prior experience in a Professional Services, Systems Integrator, Consulting, or VAR environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Cloud & Data Center practice.
• Coordinate engineering assignments and resource scheduling.
• Monitor project execution for scope, milestones, technical standards, and quality.
• Provide technical oversight for cloud migrations, virtualization, storage, backup, and DR projects.
• Mentor engineers and provide development guidance.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Delivery Leadership, Sales, and Engineering teams.
• Support forecasting, staffing, and delivery capacity planning.
