Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking Linux and cloud solutions architects who design private and public cloud solutions for diverse workloads. You will deploy, test, and hand over solutions to support teams, while also developing Kubernetes operators and open source infrastructure-as-code using Python.

Role emphasizes solving customer problems through architecture, presentations, and training. This is a home-based position with opportunities for travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or related software engineering expertise.
• Solid knowledge of cloud computing concepts & technologies (Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph).
• Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
• Intermediate to advanced Python programming skills.
• Dynamic, collaborative and eager to learn continuously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Good organizational skills and reliable follow-up on commitments.
• Optional second language.

Responsibilities

• Work across the Linux stack from kernel to applications.
• Develop open source code using Python.
• Architect cloud infrastructure solutions on-premises or in public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Coach and develop colleagues with insights.
• Foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture aligned with company values.
• Work from home and travel up to 25% for events.
